Quotes
The Quotes section is the operational core of CADrivit: it lets you build complete commercial offers for your clients, with automatically generated technical drawings, real-time price and margin calculations, and PDFs ready to print or share.
The typical workflow is:
- Create a quote in the Quote Builder — add products, configure dimensions and materials, set commercial terms.
- Send the quote to the client (change the status to "Sent").
- Manage the entire portfolio from the Quote List — filter, search, duplicate, export or convert to an order.

Quote lifecycle
A quote moves through the following statuses:
| Status | Badge colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Orange | In progress, not yet sent to the client. Autosave is active. |
| Sent | Blue | Delivered to the client, awaiting response. |
| Approved | Green | Client has accepted. Conversion to an order is available. |
| Rejected | Red | Client has declined. |
Order conversion
When you approve a quote, CADrivit automatically creates the corresponding production order and shows a notification with a direct link to the Orders page.
Notes and limits
- A quote with no product rows cannot be exported as a PDF or sent.
- Autosave is active only on drafts; other statuses require manual saving.
- A quote can be duplicated at any time: the duplicate is always created as a Draft.
