Team
The Team page shows the roster of users in your company on CADrivit, manages invitations for new colleagues, and lets you change roles or activation status.
How to access
- Menu: Team (users icon in the sidebar)
- Address:
/team - Who can use it: Administrator — the page is reserved for Administrators. A User receives an access-denied error from the server.
Interface
The page is divided into three vertical sections.
Invitation panel Administrator
Reserved for Administrators (the server rejects the request if the caller is not an Administrator). Contains:
- Email — required field for the new user's email address.
- Phone (WhatsApp) — optional field for sending the invitation link via WhatsApp (visible only if WhatsApp integration is active for the account).
- Role — dropdown. An Administrator can only invite users with the User role; only the platform team (root) can create a new Administrator.
- User — standard access; cannot manage the team or company settings.
- Invite button — sends the invitation by email (and WhatsApp if a number is provided and the integration is active).
Pending invitations Administrator
Appears only when there are invitations not yet accepted. Shows a list with:
- Invited email address.
- Assigned role and invitation expiry date.
- Revoke button (X icon) to cancel an invitation before it is accepted.
Expired invitations remain visible until revoked or accepted.
User list
Shows all active and deactivated users in the company. For each user the following information is displayed:
- Full name.
- Inactive badge — shown in red when the user has been deactivated.
- Role badge — current role (User or Administrator).
- Email, creation date, last activity — summary details below the name.
- Role menu Administrator — dropdown to change the user's role.
- Activate/deactivate button Administrator — icon to deactivate an active user or reactivate a deactivated one.
The user list and editing controls are accessible to Administrators only.
Operations
Inviting a new user Administrator
- Fill in the Email field with the colleague's address.
- (Optional) Enter the Phone number in international format, e.g.
+39 333 1234567, if you want the invitation to also arrive via WhatsApp. - Select the Role from the dropdown: choose User (the only role available to company Administrators; only the platform team can create Administrators).
- Click Invite.
- The system sends an email with the access link. If WhatsApp is active and you provided a number, a WhatsApp message is also sent.
- The invitation appears in the Pending invitations section until the colleague completes registration.
If the email address is not in the correct format, an error message appears and the invitation is not sent.
If the system cannot deliver the email, a warning message is shown. The invitation is still created; you can share the link with your colleague manually or revoke the invitation and try again.
Revoking a pending invitation Administrator
- Find the invitation in the Pending invitations section.
- Click the X icon on the right side of the row.
- Confirm the revocation in the dialog.
- The invitation is removed immediately and the link sent to the colleague stops working.
Changing a user's role Administrator
- In the user list, find the user to modify.
- Click the role dropdown in the corresponding row.
- Select the new role (User or Administrator).
- Confirm in the dialog that summarises the change.
- The change takes effect immediately.
Promoting a user to Administrator gives them full access to company settings, billing, and team management.
Deactivating a user Administrator
- In the user list, find the active user to deactivate.
- Click the Deactivate icon (UserX) in the corresponding row.
- Confirm the deactivation in the dialog.
- The user is marked with the Inactive badge and can no longer access the platform.
Reactivating a user Administrator
- In the user list, find the user with the Inactive badge.
- Click the Reactivate icon (UserCheck) in the corresponding row.
- Confirm the reactivation in the dialog.
- The user can log in again with their existing credentials.
States and messages

| Delivery failed warning | The email service could not deliver the message; the invitation is still recorded. |
| Loading error | Network issue fetching the list; reload the page. |
Notes and limits
- Managing invitations, changing roles, and activating/deactivating users are operations reserved for Administrators. A User receives an access-denied error from the server even for viewing the list.
- A company Administrator can only invite users with the User role. Creating a new Administrator requires intervention from the platform team (root).
- A deactivated user cannot log in; their data and activity history remain stored in the system.
- The same email address cannot be invited twice in the same company if an active account with that email already exists.
- The WhatsApp section (phone field and delivery note) is visible only if WhatsApp integration is enabled for your account.
- The role menu is disabled for system-level users; you cannot demote the only remaining Administrator through this interface.
