Accessories
The Accessories tab contains the catalogue of complementary items: roller shutters, blinds, mosquito nets, entrance doors and shutters. Each accessory is linked to a quote alongside a window profile.
How to access
- Menu: Inventory → Accessories tab
- Address:
/inventorythen select the "Accessories" tab - Who can use it: Administrator and User (creation/editing/deletion reserved for Administrator)
Interface
Accessory list
Each row shows:
- Name of the accessory
- Type (Roller shutter, Blind, Mosquito net, Entrance door, Shutters)
- Material (PVC, Aluminium — not applicable to entrance doors)
- Selling price
- Margin percentage if purchase cost is entered
- Edit (pencil) and Delete (bin) buttons
Filter and search bar
- Text search field — filters by name
- Type filter — Roller shutter, Blind, Mosquito net, Entrance door, Shutters
- Material filter — PVC or Aluminium
- Sort menu — Name A–Z / Z–A, Type A–Z / Z–A, Price ascending / descending, Newest / Oldest
- Clear filters button

Operations
Create an accessory
- Click New accessory.
- Choose the Type — the form will show the fields specific to that type.
- Fill in the common fields and the type-specific fields.
- Click Create accessory.
Edit an accessory
- Click the pencil icon on the accessory row.
- Update the fields.
- Click Update accessory.
Delete an accessory
- Click the bin icon.
- Confirm in the dialogue.
- You have 5 seconds to undo via the notification.

Fields common to all types

States and messages
- No accessories in catalogue: empty list with no active filters — click New accessory to start.
- Check highlighted fields: validation failed — one or more required fields are not correctly filled in.
- Positive / negative margin: calculated in real time when both selling price and purchase cost are present.
Notes and limits
- The type of an accessory cannot be changed after creation.
- Entrance doors do not have a Material field: the door type (security, timber, etc.) is already descriptive.
- The Slat profile field for roller shutters accepts both preset values and free text for non-standard sizes.
