Product profiles
Profiles are the window frame templates used in the Quote Builder. Each profile describes a model (window, door-window, sliding, roller shutter, blind, mosquito net, entrance door) with its material, prices and technical specifications. When you add a profile to a quote, CADrivit automatically inherits all the technical specifications configured here.
How to access
- Menu: Inventory → Profiles tab
- Address:
/inventory(active tab by default) - Who can use it: Administrator and User (creation/editing/deletion reserved for Administrator)

Profile list
Each row shows:
- Name of the profile
- Summary line: material, selling price (€/m²), extra hardware (€/unit), Uw transmittance if set
- Margin percentage (green if positive, red if negative) — visible only if purchase cost is entered
- Edit (pencil) and Delete (bin) buttons
Filter and search bar
- Text search field — filters by profile name
- Material filter — restricts the list to PVC or Aluminium
- Sort menu — sort by: Name A–Z, Name Z–A, Material A–Z, Material Z–A, Price ascending, Price descending, Newest, Oldest
- Clear filters button
Top-right buttons
- Browse library Administrator — opens the verified CADrivit library to import pre-configured profiles
- New profile — opens the creation form
- Export XLSX / Export JSON / Import Administrator
Operations
Create a profile
- Click New profile.
- Fill in the main fields (see table below).
- Expand the Technical specifications & CE marking section to enter the window's technical data.
- Click Create profile.
Edit a profile
- Find the profile in the list and click the pencil icon.
- Update the desired fields.
- Click Update profile.
Delete a profile
- Click the bin icon on the profile row.
- Confirm in the dialogue.
- You have 5 seconds to click Undo in the notification before the deletion becomes permanent.
Import from the verified library Administrator
- Click Browse library.
- Choose the import type: Full bundle (profile + recommended accessories), Profile only or Accessory only.
- Search and select the desired products.
- Choose how to handle conflicts (Skip / Merge / Overwrite) and confirm.

Technical specifications & CE marking (expandable section)
These data are automatically inherited in the quote when the profile is selected.

| Air permeability class | EN 12207 class (1–4). |

| Notified body | Number of the notified body that issued the certification. |
| Default glass | Default glass type: Double, Triple, Acoustic, Laminated, Tempered, Selective, Security, Other. |
| Glass composition | Glazing stack description, free text (e.g. 4/16/4). |
| Glass transmittance Ug (W/m²K) | Thermal transmittance of the glass. |
| Glass thickness (mm) | Total thickness of the glazing package. |
| Security class | EN 1627 class: standard, RC1, RC2, RC3, RC4, RC5, RC6. |
States and messages
- Positive margin (green): selling price exceeds purchase cost.
- Negative margin (red): selling price is below cost — check the entered data.
- No profiles configured: appears when the list is empty and no filter is active; click New profile to start.
- No results for "...": the text search found no matches — try a different term or clear the filters.
Notes and limits
- The Purchase cost field is never included in PDFs or customer-facing previews.
- Changing the price of a profile does not update already-saved quotes: prices are frozen row by row at quote creation time.
- The verified library contains pre-configured profiles from common manufacturers (e.g. Pimapen, Rehau, etc.); prices are not included and must be set after import.
